Course fees

We have designed the Strathclyde Optical Microscopy Course to keep costs as low as possible so that we may admit participants on need, rather than their ability to pay.

Thanks to generous support from our sponsors, we have been able to reduce course fees for academic participants to £100, which covers all lectures and practical sessions, including the field trip, lunches during the course, and the welcome and farewell receptions. In exceptional circumstances, we may be able to reduce this fee to £0.

We also welcome applications from industrial participants. The course fee for industry participants scales on the size of the company: please contact SOMC@strath.ac.uk to discuss your requirements.

 

Participants will be asked to cover their own travel and accommodation costs, and we can advise successful applicants on sustainable travel and accommodation options close to the course.
