Apply

To apply to the course, please send the following four documents to the SOMC organisers (SOMC@strath.ac.uk). The closing date for applications was 19 January 2024 - now extended to 2 February 2024. Incomplete applications will not be considered. The course is limited to 20 participants.

1. A completed application form. The form can be downloaded here.

2. A Curriculum Vitae, maximum of 2 pages.

3. A concise description of your research, your reasons for wishing to attend and your experience of techniques taught on the course, maximum of 2 pages.

4. A letter of recommendation, provided on organization headed notepaper and signed by a line manager/supervisor, indicating how your research, the laboratory in which you work, and the area of research that are pursuing or the facility you are managing will benefit from your participation on the course.

All applications will be acknowledged by email on receipt.
